Last Mountain Railroad  - Former CN Craik South Subdivision

This trackage is situated between Craik and Regina, SK

RWM analysed and evaluated rail assets then developed an approach and a business plan which culminated in the purchase of the Craik South Subdivision from Canadian National Railway, including:

  1. rail inspection
  2. establishment of fair market value of assets (rail, ties, track materials, bridges, land)
  3. feasibility study
  4. business plan sufficient to comply with the due diligence processes of the federal, provincial and local governments, national and provincial financial institutions, and individual investors
  5. historic traffic flows
  6. marketing forecasts for agricultural production and shipping aa well as industrial shipping
  7. corporate governance
  8. public information meetings
  9. raising capital including submissions to charted banks
  10. equity sales
  11. compliance with the requirements of the Saskatchewan Securities commission
  12. operating plans
  13. safety management plan
