
Last Mountain Railroad - Former CN Craik South Subdivision
This trackage is situated between Craik and Regina, SK
RWM analysed and evaluated rail assets then developed an approach and a business plan which culminated in the purchase of the Craik South Subdivision from Canadian National Railway, including:
- rail inspection
- establishment of fair market value of assets (rail, ties, track materials, bridges, land)
- feasibility study
- business plan sufficient to comply with the due diligence processes of the federal, provincial and local governments, national and provincial financial institutions, and individual investors
- historic traffic flows
- marketing forecasts for agricultural production and shipping aa well as industrial shipping
- corporate governance
- public information meetings
- raising capital including submissions to charted banks
- equity sales
- compliance with the requirements of the Saskatchewan Securities commission
- operating plans
- safety management plan
