River Hills Railroad - CP Glenboro Subdivision
This trackage is situated between Rathwell (just east of Treherne) and Page (just west of Nesbitt) MB
RWM analysed and evaluated rail assets then developed an approach and a business plan towards purchase of the Glenboro Subdivision from Canadian Pacific Railway, including:
- rail inspection
- establishment of fair market value of assets (rail, ties, track materials, bridges, land)
- feasibility study
- business plan sufficient to comply with the due diligence processes of the federal, provincial and local governments, national and provincial financial institutions, and individual investors
- historic traffic flows
- marketing forecasts for agricultural production / shipping and industrial shipping
- corporate governance
- public information and share sales meetings
- raising capital
- equity sales
- compliance with the requirements of the Manitoba Securities commission
This project is ongoing, and is scheduled for completion in the 1st quarter of 2011.
